Title: Senior Graphic Designer
Reports to: Creative Director
Department: Strategic Marketing and Communications
Status: Full-time/Exempt

Position Summary:
The Senior Graphic Designer provides cutting-edge creative thought and design solutions to marketing challenges, while taking a leadership role within the team to be aware of the workload of other designers and provide feedback and guidance to other team members where appropriate. This role is team-centric (there are two other Senior Graphic Designers), fast-paced and receives/provides art direction. Provides design solutions for a variety of print and digital mediums.

Duties and Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Provide creative design solutions that deliver measurable results for customers and corporate.
  • Provide input and creative guidance to other team members as needed.
  • Demonstrate ownership of design projects as assigned by the Creative Director.
  • Work closely with Graphic Designers, Copywriters and Project Managers to maintain high quality work, while adhering to brand standards.
  • Presentation of work in-house and to clients.
  • Work with printers and other outside vendors to plan for print production, in addition to preparing print ready files for highest quality product.
  • Work on a diverse project range: layout and design, print ads, digital marketing assets like ads and
    landing pages, event branding, logo development, photo editing, website design, etc.
  • Collaborate within team environment on projects assignments and workload balance.

  • Ability to work quickly and meet deadlines.
  • Committed to delivering innovative, high volume, high-quality work.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Draws personal energy by working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Excellent command of graphic design/layout, photography and production skills.
  • Self-motivated with professional business experience who is able to work independently.
  • Ceros experience a plus.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years graphic design experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or Communication Arts.
  • Must have experience designing a variety of projects including print and online.
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite, including Word and PowerPoint.
  • Financial services experience helpful.
